2) FINDING A SONG
You don’t need to flick through heaps of CD’S trying to find your song. Our music is all grouped together alphabetically by artist. For example under “A” are all the songs with artists whose name starts with “A” appear ready for you to play. For example under “A” all the Abba songs will be displayed and you then simply choose the desired song. This is easier than trying to remember a particular song because it is easier to remember an artist rather than a song especially after a drink or two.Dont forget to ask about our optional ipod/mp3 attatchment


3) WHAT DOES KARAOKE INCLUDE?
Melbourne City Jukebox Hire with karaoke holds over 15000 songs including 4000 karaoke and video clips. The songs and words and clips are displayed on an inbuilt lcd screen on the jukebox or you can have an optional separate 66cm Lcd monitor supplied by us. Melbourne City Jukebox Hire jukeboxes with Karaoke also includes 2 microphones with microphone stands. The microphones can also be used for speeches and announcements. We have the largest monitors in the jukebox industry. Also with 10 metre cables on each side you can eliminate the feedback from microphones associated with jukeboxes with smaller cables. Melbourne City Jukebox Hire karaoke is fully digital so it does not use CD’S, VCD’S, CDG’S OR DVD’S. It is pure digital stereo sound and display.
  
 
4) FREE PARTY LIGHTS
Rather than just a boring flashing light which is just a couple of coloured globes, our party moondot lighting has the latest led effects. Our lights can be aimed at the wall, ceiling or wherever you like for a multicolored ,multilayed laser like effect.

7) PARTY HIRE DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED.
We have been in the jukebox industry for many years and experence has enabled us to design a party hire jukebox to please everybody.
 
8) IS IT LOUD?
All our speakers have a minimum   woofer with a horn and or tweeter arrangement for clarity and performance. We only use commercial amplifiers that bands use. We don’t use domestic amplifiers that are sold in shops.
 
9) DELIVERY AND PICK UP
 
We offer Free pick up and delivery in Melbourne and metropolitan area. We arrange our delivery time two days before the function and can then give you an arrival time for your jukebox. Eg 9.30 to 10.30 or 11 to 12 and so you will not have to wait for us all day wondering when the jukebox will arrive.
A $50 deposit is required to confirm your hire. We offer full back up service and if the office is unattended your call will be diverted to a mobile phone so we are always contactable 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We have been in the industry for nearly 60 years and know what we are doing. We build sell and maintain our jukeboxes so we know them inside out.

 

10) HIRE AGREEMENT

Melbourne City Jukebox (hereinafter called "the owner") agrees to hire equipment to the Customer (hereinafter called the "Customer") and the customer agrees to accept the hiring in accordance with the terms of this agreement.

1: Prior to the execution of this agreement the Customer convenants and agrees with the terms of this agreement.

    (a)     That the Customer has thoroughly examined the equipment and has satisfied their self as to its condition   

               and suitability for their purpose.
    (b)     That the equipment is in good order and condition.
    (c)     That the Customer has read and understood the operating instructions.
2: The Owner will let the hirer and the Customer will hire from the Owner equipment on the terms and conditions herein 
contained.
3: No variation of these conditions will bind the owner unless made in writing and signed by the Owner.
4: The Customer shall pay the Owner all hire charges for which the Customer is liable to the Owner upon delivery of   equipment. Use the equipment in a proper manner and only for the purpose and capacity for which it was designed;  accept full responsibility for the safekeeping of the equipment.
5: The Owner agrees to maintain and service the said equipment to the best of his ability to a period no later than 11PM unless otherwise specified by mutual agreement between the Owner and the Customer.
6: That except for such conditions and warranties as are required by law no condition, warranty or representation is given by the Owner whether in relation to the condition, quality or suitability of the equipment and any express or implied condition is hereby excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7: The Hirer agrees to indemnify and keep indemnified the Owner against liability in respect of any suits, claims, actions, demands, costs, loss (including loss of profit) or damages arising directly or indirectly out of the hire or use of the equipment by the Customer whether caused by the negligence of the Customer or any other person.
8: The Customer will immediately stop using the equipment if it is damaged or becomes unsafe. And will contact the Owner immediately. The Cusomer will not repair or attempt to repair the equipment without the Owner's consent. The Customer will pay within 5 days the costs of any and all repairs and if the damage is irreparable or the equipment is lost or stolen, the replacement cost of the equipment. If the Cusomer does not make full payment within 5 days the Customer will pay to the Owner by way of liquidated damages an amount equal to the weekly hiring fee for each week or part thereof until all monies are received by the Owner.
9: The Customer agrees that all repair costs can be taken from the Customer's credit card, if provided, subject to the Owner issuing the Customer with an invoice and written intention of such a cost.
10. The Customer agrees to a surcharge of 2.5% on all payments made by credit card to cover bank merchant fees. This is an amount paid on top of the agreed hire price.
11: The Owner reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time during the course of such agreement with no refund of money if the equipment hired is subject to any treatment that the Owner, at his sole discretion, considers to be neglectful or likely to cause damage to the equipment.
12: To the extent that any of the provisions herein contained are prohibited or void under the law of the State of Victoria or Trade Practices Act 1974 and subsequent amendments thereto such provisions that are so prohibited or void shall be ineffective to the extent of such provision or as so void without invalidating the remaining provisions hereof and this agreement shall be construed as intended to operate in all aspects to the maximum extent to which it can validly apply.
